At the end of a small road that winds uphill through meadows along forests, streams and ponds lies Domaine de la Gagère, with a view of the most beautiful sunset in France! At Domaine de la Gagère, with 126 pitches on a 5-hectare site, you experience naturism in the midst of the beautiful nature of the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan in Burgundy, rich in history and culture, but above all in natural beauty and tranquility. La Gagère is a day's drive from Utrecht (700 kilometers). Tim and Floor are happy to welcome you to the green site of more than 5 hectares. Surrounded by forest and with a magnificent view over the valley, you can stay overnight with your own tent, caravan or camper or in one of our fully furnished accommodations. You have a choice of caravans, mobile homes, a safari tent, Mongolian Yurt and various chalets.

Enjoy our extensive facilities during your holiday! We have a restaurant with a large terrace and bar, where a changing three-course menu is served six evenings a week, always with a vegetarian choice. There is a chip shop where pizzas can also be picked up. There are two heated swimming pools, one of which is covered and a children's pool. You can use four luxury sanitary buildings, three of which are equipped with an EasyBe 5-minute dishwasher. For relaxation you can book a massage or use our sauna. Fresh bread can be ordered daily. All our facilities are accessible to people with reduced mobility. There are also two fully adapted accommodations available (mobile home and chalet type B new). Play a nice game of boules with your neighbors or use the volleyball court and table tennis table. From La Gagère we have described a number of walks through the beautiful nature around the site.

We strive to take care of nature as best we can. Sustainability is therefore an important part of our business philosophy. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This concerns economic, social and environmental needs. We feel responsible for taking good care of the earth within our company, not exploiting its natural resources, treating people and animals with respect and taking care of, in particular, the local economy.

Some of our sustainable activities:
- Waste management through waste separation using our own container park. A compost bin in all rental units.
- Solar boilers for hot water in our new chalets.
- Heat pumps for heating the swimming pools. In the pre-season, only the small pool with cover is used and heated.
- 5-minute EasyBe dishwashers for water saving.
- Motion sensors for street lighting and sanitary buildings and LED lighting.
- Use of renewable materials in new wooden chalets and safari tents.
- Use of environmentally friendly and natural products for cleaning, maintenance and administration.
- Use of electric golf carts for cleaning and technical staff.
- Online meetings where possible.
- Silence on the campsite between 23:00 and 07:30. No traffic during these hours.
- Information to guests about reducing water and electricity use and waste separation via posters.
- Information to staff about environmentally friendly and locally purchased cleaning products, water saving and electricity use via team meetings and manuals.
- Cooperation with local producers and craftsmen for the purchase of the shop, the restaurant and various activities.

Accommodation options:
Camping pitches
With camping pitches of more than 100m² and almost all equipped with at least 6 amps of electricity, we offer something for every camper: shady spots, sunny pitches with a view over the valley or the sheltered lane and a family field. You can camp at La Gagère with your own tent, caravan or camper.

Mongolian Yurt
A stylish authentic furnished Mongolian Yurt with a 2-person bed of 160×200. A single bed can be added. Own kitchenette with gas and pans, cutlery and crockery. Garden furniture. There are duvets and pillows. You use the campsite sanitary facilities.

Safari tent
Camping, but no desire to set up a tent? We have a fully furnished safari tent ready for you, with delicious wide beds (160×200)! The luxury tents have an area of 24m², 2 bedrooms, a large living space with lounge sofa and a kitchen (without water connection). The largely covered terrace of 12m² has a comfortable sofa. You use the campsite sanitary facilities.

Tourer caravan
Enjoy the most beautiful sunset in France with your caravan? Our fully furnished tourer caravan is placed in such a way that you have a beautiful view over the hills of the Morvan. The caravan is 5.70m long and has room for two people (and a child). You use the campsite sanitary facilities.

Mobile home
Being outside but also enjoying the coziness of a living room and the comfort of your own sanitary facilities inside, that is possible in our mobile homes. One of the mobile homes is specially furnished for people with reduced mobility. A mobile home has room for four people.

Chalet type A
On the veranda on the edge of the forest you only hear the sound of crickets and birds. In a quiet corner of the campsite you will find comfortable wooden chalets, with a lot of privacy and a beautiful view. This type of chalet has an area of 40m² with room for five people. There is 1 bedroom with a bed of 160x200 and a bedroom with a bed of 140x190 and a single bunk bed above it.

New chalet type B
In our new chalet type B it is good to stay! A spacious living room of 25m², separate toilet and wide bed of 160cm make life inside extremely comfortable. From the sofa you look out over the valley through a 4 meter wide sliding door. The covered terrace of 30m² provides shade in the warm summers. You will not be cold in this well-insulated chalet with electric heating. A solar boiler provides sustainably heated water. The chalet has an area of 47m² with room for four people.

New adapted chalet type B (PMR)
In our new chalet type B it is good to stay, also for people with reduced mobility! A spacious living room of 25m², a fully adapted bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a wide bed of 160cm make life inside extremely comfortable. From the sofa you look out over the valley through a 4 meter wide sliding door. The covered terrace of 30m² provides shade in the warm summers. A solar boiler provides sustainably heated water. The chalet has an area of 47m² with room for two to four people. There is a comfortable 2-person sofa bed in the living room.

Safari tent lodge
From this luxury safari tent with a lot of privacy you have a great view over the valley and the sunset. On the wide terrace there is a lounge sofa. The safari tent has an area of 31m² with room for five people.
