Biography career

Bouwe de Jong, born in 1966 is a member of a professional symphony orchestra called Holland Symfonia. Besides his career as an performing artist Bouwe specialised himself in composing and arranging for orchestras and all kinds of ensembles. He wrote music for Holland Symfonia, the Orchestra of the North of The Netherlands, the Ricciotti Ensemble, The Gents and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, conducted by e.g. Jurre Haanstra, Hans Leenders, Jan Stulen and John Clayton. He also made numerous arrangements for e.g. salon ensembles.
Soloists who Bouwe worked with as an arranger are e.g. Liesbeth List, BRACE, Josee Koning, Thé Lau, Loes Luca, Lucretia van der Vloot, Maarten van Roozendaal, Miranda van Kralingen and Jan Rot.
Bouwe de Jong and Arthur Cune also wrote the popsong 'Danielle (la plus belle)'. This song was selected from hundreds of other competitors for the Dutch finals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2001. The song was interpreted by the a cappella group named 'Montezuma's Revenge'. They have performed this song 'Live' in Ahoy' (Rotterdam) on the 3rd of March 2001 and became third. The National Song Contest was broadcasted directly on Dutch television.
